Chamois hunting is absolutely mountain hunting. It mostly takes place in high mountains, cliffs and rocks.
Type of hunting:
Chamois hunting can only be carried out in high areas: by stalking or from high altitude.
Recommendations about the Hunter:
Phisically and mentally fit status
Appropriate mountain boots and clothing.
Every hunter is responsible for his or her own health and safety!
Flat trajectory 6.5 mm or larger calibres are recommended for chase hunting.
Occasionally, shots of 300 m can be expected. It is recommended that you bring at least 20 rounds of ammunition to the hunt.
